Message from the President
Message from the President
The past year has proven to be a point in the right economic
direction, both for individual businesses as well as the
Chamber community. We saw steady growth and improvement
in new members, current members, and prospective
members, all of which we’re excited about!
Over the past year, the Chamber continued to see an
increased participation from its members at our networking
events, our Legislative Breakfast Series, our Military Affairs Council (MAC),
the 128 Business Expo, the Young Professionals Group – a group of upwardly mobile young professionals from the community who meet monthly in sessions taught/presented by Sandler Training.
In 2015, we’ll be bringing a variety of programs to the members and community which will enhance their skills, improve their bottom line, and contribute to their success. Networking and participation in the Chamber’s events reap the most substantive, measurable, and sustainable growth, so we encourage members (and non-members alike are certainly welcome!) to participate and get involved early and often. Please be sure to visit our website at www.northsuburbanchamber.com or provide your email address and we’ll put you on the notification list for our events.
Our Legislative Breakfast Series included visits from Congressman Tierney,
Senator Ayotte, Gubernatorial candidates, Baker, Coakley and Grossman,
Congressional Candidate Richard Tisei and others. This series and these events are crucial in that they afford everyone (members, non-members, or prospective members) an opportunity to meet with – and more importantly be heard by – members of our government who can best represent our needs, our thoughts, and our voices.
The North Suburban Chamber’s mission and goal is to help build strength in
individual business members which in turn builds a stronger economic local community, and ultimately, a stronger local economy builds a larger regional community, and so on.
We are here to serve you….if we can be of any assistance or if you have
suggestions, questions, or ideas that would help our Chamber to achieve our goal, please be sure to let us know. We’re here to listen and to help.
We look forward to a prosperous and great new year for everyone!
With Warmest Regards,
Jim Murphy, President
